Liquid for Merchants
Liquid is a customer loyalty and dynamic pricing platform. It lets you attract customers during slow periods and reward repeat visitors. Customers pre-load money into a Liquid wallet, then pay directly through the app for in-store purchases and pickup orders.
How customer payments work
Discount windows
You have three tools to offer discounts, all configured through the Merchant Portal. Liquid always shows the customer their single best available rate — only one discount applies per transaction, and the highest rate wins.
A customer who deposits $100 gets 20% off that entire $100. But if they spend $50 of it and later add another $10, that $10 is its own separate deposit — discounted only at whatever rate $10 qualifies for on its own. The discount is tied to the deposit, not the customer's balance.
The Merchant Portal
Your central hub for managing everything on Liquid. Runs entirely in any web browser — no app, no hardware required.



What customers see
Customers browse locations organized by whichever discount window is currently active — flash sale, off-peak, or base tier. If no discount is active, your location still appears in their recent locations.
The discount badge always shows only the single best rate. Flash sales display a live countdown. Off-peak windows highlight the specific active slot.
At checkout, the discount applies automatically — customers see it broken out in the order summary before confirming payment.
Liquid tracks each customer's lifetime savings across all locations.
